KWAZULU-NATAL - In a bizarre incident, four nine-year-old boys were caught red-handed breaking into a home in Hazelmere, KwaZulu-Natal, on Thursday morning. A female resident, clearly not amused, handed the little rascals over to Reaction Unit South Africa headquarters. Investigations revealed that these miniature bandits were linked to multiple break-ins at local homes and tuckshops, where they made off with valuables such as phones, sports shoes, cash, and electronics. The boys admitted to selling the stolen goods to locals, but predictably, they pointed fingers at each other during questioning.

On September 1, 2025, Burkina Faso's parliament passed a law criminalizing homosexuality, with offenders facing two to five years in prison and fines. The law, approved by the transitional government led by Captain Ibrahim Traoré, was described by Justice Minister Edasso Rodrigue Bayala as upholding traditional family values. Human rights groups warn that the legislation could increase discrimination and abuse against LGBTQ individuals. The law takes effect immediately, with officials planning awareness campaigns.
