This Ceph20 release oozes organic warmth, substituting the trademark drum synths for warped breaks, layered over rich vibrophone-like chimes and pads. Genre-wise you are anywhere from drum and bass to sublime chill, making this EP a great all round listen.

OVA are proud to throw golden light into dark corners, with 4 tracks of glorious bedroom produced big party adventures from Mr Pillnecker.

'I'd do it all again' is a festival DJ's classic sunrise track - warm synths and trickling piano riffs over well-loved Roland boxes, and plenty of big crowd-hugging moments.
Switching gears, a wronged clubber laments over a 90s tinged electro rave chord workout on 'They wont let us dance'.
And intermittent acid accompanies a well known vocal rave sample, heard in all its glory on 'The girl with the doves'.
Finally 'Dreamshift mixtape track 1' is lifted from Rupert's sole surviving cassette copy of some early tune-forging, and delights with both cheeky charm, a big heart and oversaturated recording levels.

Like his parties, Rupert believes music should be free, but is happy knowing anything paid will be helping OVA fund good causes. We really do need more Ruperts in the world.

Flickering suggestions of Paul's IDM upbringing play at the edges of of this release, while centre stage focuses on the construction of thrilling and deep interacting layers of sound.

OpziO's work has found favour with DJs from Dave Clarke to Luke Slater, and this EP promises similar heavyweight attention, with a volley of uncompromising beats and electronic soul music aimed at the feet and head.
