LOYALTY

I saw a post today that says one celebrity couple ended their long term relationship recently. Hindi daw naging loyal ung isa, kaya natapos ang maganda nilang kwento na open book naman sa lahat ng kanilang followers at fans.

Sa totoo lang, mejo nalungkot ako sa balitang ito.

(See that I don't drop names kase hindi tayo marites sa page na ito.. hehe.)

Gusto ko lang magreflect sa nangyayare sa Generation natin and how Social Media affects the way we think about Loyalty.

May nabasa akong comment, sabi.. "Kung sila nga naghiwalay, pano pa tayo?"

Sabi naman ng isa, "Tingnan nyo o, maganda na yan ha? artista at mayaman na yan, pero niloko pa din. pano pa tayo?"

Sa isang balita, we compare our standards of loyalty dahil nakikita at nababasa natin na 'Ok lang' ang mga bagay na sa standard ni Lord ay hindi naman pala talaga Ok.

We justify our actions, just because everybody is doing it.

"Dahil ganito si Ganyan, ganyan na din tayo dapat."
"Pwede na pala akong maging ganito, kase si ganito, ganyan din naman."

Think about it, ano nga ba ang sabi ni Lord pagdating sa Loyalty?

Sabi sa Deuteronomy 7:9, “Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who maintains covenant loyalty with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations”

Through His covenant, we're assured of His never-ending love for us. Nagpramis si Lord ng Kanyang loyalty and commitment sa'tin kahit na madalas ay we turn away from His love.

Si Lord mismo ang standard ng Loyalty.
His perfect love for us shows loyalty in all aspects.

Loyalty connotes all the higher moral qualities. Often it may mean putting the interests of others above personal gain or pleasure.
Gaya ng ginawa ni Jesus sa Cross para satin. (See? Love.)

Loyalty means obeying God's commandment to love others as we love ourselves. And loving and being committed to God with our whole being. (Again, love.)

May standards na na binigay si Lord, babasahin at gagayahin mo nalang.

Being loyal exhibits our commitment to Christ by our commitment--with discernment--to others at all times.

Love comes with Loyalty.
At kung mahal mo, hindi mo sasaktan.

Loyalty is a quality greatly needed in the world today.
Let's practice it everyday.
