Despite the new car park being open to the public they’re still seem to be plenty of spaces available despite only operating three of the floors

Work is due to start soon at Blackpool Central with road closures scheduled to allow the construction of a new 1,306 space multi-storey car park.
The car park is the first phase to create a new year-round leisure destination, freeing up land for development, ensuring there’s enough parking for local residents and visitors, and to protect our businesses’ trade.
The scheme will be the largest single investment in Blackpool for over a century and is expected to create around 1,000 new jobs.
Road closures →
To construct the car park safely it will be necessary to close the area to all traffic.
The entrance to Central Car Park at Seasider’s Way where it crosses Chapel Street via the bridge, will be closed from Wednesday 23 March 2022 until spring 2023 and diversions into the town centre will be in place.
There will be no through route for traffic during this period via Central Car Park and Chapel Street.
The diversions will be clearly signposted via routes at Parkinson Way/Waterloo Road and Bloomfield Road. Pedestrian routes will be clearly marked to the town centre and attractions.
Parking →
During the works, 800 parking spaces will be available at Central Car Park via the main car park entrance on Central Drive.
Foxhall Village Car & Coach Park, Seasiders Way Car Park, Sandsway Coach Park and Lonsdale Car Park will all remain open as normal and visitors can still walk into town from these locations.
Coaches →
The New Bonny Coach Facility will remain in use in its current location. Routes in and out of the car park will be clearly signposted.

Some info from Central Pier about their Big Wheel which is being replaced next year.
ℹ️🎡 Central Pier Big Wheel is undergoing essential maintenance work, but don’t worry, it’ll be back in operation this Easter.
It will then be replaced by the brand new Bigger Big Wheel in 2023…

Today we have learned that Bonney Street Market has permanently closed.
This statement was released on their social media account earlier today.
"Its with regret we have to write this post.
Sadly after 36 seasons we have had to close due to circumstances beyond our control.
Unfortunately our site is being developed, along with the surrounding area into a new leisure development.
So its with a heavy heart that we say a big thankyou and goodbye to all of our customers that have supported us over the past 36 years. "

BLACKPOOL CENTRAL UPDATE
Work is due to start on the £300m world class leisure attraction planned for Blackpool Central.
Sections of the car park behind the Edward VII pub, east of the Seasider’s Way entrance, will be fenced off so that essential services can be diverted from the site ahead of the first phase of works that will start in March to build a new 1300 space multi-storey car park.
Access to Central Car Park will be open as normal, with 800 spaces available
