I can't wait any longer. Square isn't bringing the games I want to Switch, so I'm diving back into the Vita. It's been three years since I powered it on, but I've found my next three RPGs awaiting me: Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together Vagrant Story Chrono Cross Though Doom and Animal Crossing are both coming soon, I'm hoping the Vita will find life anew in my gaming rotation. If it does, I suspect the above games will become featured games in the Dire Dire Podcast sooner than later.

To understand the significance of the Halo 2 announcement is to understand the impact of Halo: Combat Evolved. In an era without integrated online gaming services (such as Xbox Live), college dorms the world over were taking advantage of their LAN networks to stage large-scale multiplayer battles in Halo. I personally failed a Computer Science class because it was scheduled during "Halo night."
