Thank you for all the viewers, reacts and shares! 💛 See you on our next podcast 🎙
Here's a wrap from last night's podcast ☺
1. It all starts with you. You have to know your worth. You have to accept and love yourself for who you are. This will attract people who respect and appreciate your worth. Get to know yourself first. You may think you're ready for love but could be hiding scars that needs healing. Unsettled scars can be the start of issues. Don't look for love to fill up the emptiness or cover up the issues you have with yourself. Love yourself, so you know what you deserve.
2. Do not rush. Love is not something that happens overnight. It takes time and effort in getting to know each other. Enjoy the little moments and cherish them like it's your last. It will come at the right moment, it's a cliché but destiny still plays the best game at turning tables. Love can still be magical, coming in unexpectedly - sneaking up on you right around the corner. Believe in SERENDIPITY 💛 One day, someone will walk into your life and make you see why it never worked out with anyone else.
3. Be willing to take a risk. Sometimes your "the one" could be right in front of you. Take a chance so you will not have what ifs or regrets in the end. Loving someone is always a gamble but it will all be worth it in the end. You may get hurt or be in a happily ever after story - you wouldn't know if you didn't try, right? Even if you do get hurt, at least you gave out a chance for love, it helps you to realize how to grow and be ready for the time when your "the one" comes around. True and real love is like a treasure in this world, and as with anything of value, sometimes you have to work hard to get it.
4. Your relationship is just like a game. It's a two-player mode adventure. It takes teamwork in everything - may it be in seeing through a rainbow or a storm. Sometimes a relationship isn't just about love but it's built around a foundation of friendship, communication, trust, respect, honesty, reliance, and commitment. A relationship is not based on the length of time you spend together, it's based on the foundation you built together.
💛 "THE ONE" 💛
The one is someone who makes you feel at ease as if all your worries, insecurities, doubts, questions and everything else disappear - you can sleep at night like a baby, floating in clouds. Someone who doesn't just love you but also understand and respect for who you are - this is where your self-worth becomes important. It's when you don't feel scared about your partner's reaction no matter what you do or say, you will always have the assurance that at the end of day they they'll stick around - that they will choose you over and over without pause and without doubt in a heartbeat. "The one" feels completely like home that you always want to return to - a shelter from this crazy world and an anchor that keeps you steady throughout hardships.
