The Fall A Story of Survival and Strength A single moment, a violent drop, a life split open. The Fall is the moment the world went silent & the truth got loud.

The Fall is where I tell the story I've carried in silence-the fear, the blame & the slow rise toward the man I'm fighting to be again.

I started The Fall to tell the truth about what happened to me — the impact, the confusion, the pain, and the long, grinding fight to get answers. But as I’ve walked through this, I’ve realized something bigger: this fight doesn’t belong to veterans alone. It belongs to the families and caregivers who stand beside us, carry the weight with us, and keep us going when the system makes it hard to stand.

A lot of us — veterans, spouses, and caregivers — are out here trying to navigate a maze that tests your patience, your faith, and your strength. Some days it feels like you’re carrying the whole world on your back. Other days it feels like you’re shouting into the wind. If you’ve ever felt that, you already understand why I’m writing.

This page isn’t just my story.
It’s a place for veterans and those who love them — the ones fighting the quiet battles nobody sees. When I hit a wall, I’ll talk about it. When I learn something the hard way, I’ll share it so maybe you don’t have to. When something finally makes sense, I’ll break it down in plain English, not bureaucratic double‑talk.

This is tough love, veteran to veteran — and family to family.
I’m not here to sugarcoat anything. I’m here because too many of us are walking this road alone, and that’s not how we were built. We were trained to watch each other’s six, and that includes the people who keep us grounded when the uniform comes off.

If you’re a veteran, spouse, or caregiver dealing with your own version of this fight, you’re welcome here.
If you need clarity, if you’re stuck, if you’re overwhelmed, or if you just need someone who understands the terrain — you can contact me directly. Message me anytime. I can’t fix everything, but I can share what I’ve learned, point you toward the right questions, and make sure you don’t feel like you’re walking this road by yourself.

I’ll keep posting updates, insights, and the things that come up along the way.
If even one thing I share helps another veteran or family stand a little steadier, then this page is doing its job.

We look out for each other.
Always have. Always will.
