GET YOUR PAPERWORK READY (there are 8! documents you should get via an attorney ON TOP OF your marriage certificate).

IF YOU HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT GETTING MARRIED IN A SAME S*X MARRIAGE, GO TO THE COURTHOUSE *NOW* TO START THE PAPER TRAIL. Have your ceremony and stuff when you planned on it, but get it started right now.

WHEN Obergefell gets overturned, it will be a tool in your arsenal to keep things as legally binding as you can. This is not an IF statement, this is an authoritarian country now and this is a WHEN statement. Look at what they've done already.

Some states will still honor same s*x marriages, others will not. (This includes safely traveling through states that won't recognize!!) If all you have is the piece of paper from the courthouse, PLEASE get the rest of those documents completed.

To our dear long time followers and listeners-

We have not been placing the priority where it needs to be for this podcast. It is our baby, we talk about it always. Atlas and I and are neurodivergent, chronically ill, and have been processing a lot of familial grief and stress. However! We've come to a decision. This my be the outlet we need to help motivate us to try a little bit harder. Our whole life and future picture was completely uprooted and we are trying to find our way navigating a new life.
With the state of politics, we've made the decision to stay and fight for those of us who cannot. There may be division in the LGBTQIA+ community against each other... but not for us.
You belong under our umbrella no matter how you identify.
We are safe for you.
Our podcast is our outlet and this is how we will fight- compassion. We will create a safe space and community for you to turn to. We are committed to this project of ours that we've tried our best to tenderly carry to a point where we could feel this motivated. We're here now, and we're fighting for you to feel safe.
We will be working on transcriptions over the next month, outlining new episodes, and working on a behind the scenes set up that works for us both. Atlas is typically more researching episodes, plugging around on our socials, and finding new ways to reach new ears. I'm typically the one behind the scenes building our domains, resources, and planning future episodes.
The goal is to stand our ground and make a place for ourselves. It's time now. Your support means the world to us, and we truly hope you'll stick around to make the community we're all so desperately seeking in this time of uncertainly.

Atlas and I are at Tower Grove Pride in Saint Louis this year working on our content schedule for you all and just generally enjoying the vibe. Happy Pride!

Just as a general update, I have cut down my hours at my day job that officially starts in October so I can dedicate more time to our podcast! I'm working for you all!
