Local Drug Group Member Arrested in Dalaguete, Cebu

On August 5, 2023, at around 7:30 a.m., combined elements of PDEA Cebu Provincial Office, PDEA Intelligence Unit, CPPO PIU/PDEU, and Dalaguete Municipal Police Station conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mantalongon, Dalaguete, Cebu, which resulted in the arrest of a local drug group member and the confiscation of shabu.

The suspect was identified as Sabino Calvo, alias Benjie Calvo, 36, farmer, a resident of Barangay Tabon, Dalaguete, Cebu.

Confiscated during the operation were five (5) packs of suspected shabu weighing around 25 grams with an estimated market value of P170,000 and buy-bust money.

Cases for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165 will be filed against the suspect.
