We all know how important visuals are. Especially on this platform where aesthetic feeds matter.

Using product / brand photos are your best option but if you don’t have them readily available then stock imagery is your best bet.

They are high quality and you can find images that will suit your brand. You can also customise the images, add overlays, branding elements, filters, play around with the settings to make them fit in with your brand/feed.

Although it’s important to note that other brands may also be using these images so finding sites / images that are less commonly used is recommended.

I feel like a hypocrite 🫣

I wanted to call myself out here and be totally transparent about my content creation process 👇🏻

I DO batch create content for my clients but I don’t always do it for my own accounts.

Have you ever felt the message come through so clearly that you just HAD to share it then and there?! I get it! This post is actually proof of that. It wasn’t planned, but I just knew that I had to share it.

There are many benefits to batch creating content but one of the cons I have found is that it stifles me. I feel put into a box and I don’t feel as creative with my captions. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE seeing how my feed is going to look after I’ve created the graphics and I can see how they all fit together to tell a bigger story & you best believe I want to post them all there and then because I’m so excited but the caption writing part of that process doesn’t always fill me with joy.

I do enjoy sharing posts on the go, truth be told I see benefits of both ways of creating content. So the point is, do whatever you can sustain without burning out. Find the process that makes the most sense to you and stick with it.

There is no right or wrong way 🥰

Do you know what’s really scary?! 👻

Being stuck in comparison mode! 😩

Constantly second guessing yourself and thinking everyone else has it all figured out? Does this sound familiar? 💭

Trust me, I’ve been there! But it never makes you feel any better to compare yourself does it? So why do we do it to ourselves?!

You won’t achieve success by copying someone else anyway. It isn’t sustainable to keep it up and you’ll end up feeling frustrated with the lack of results.

How often have you sat there scrolling through Instagram and come away feeling uninspired and s**t about yourself?

You’re looking at the graphics they create 👩🏼‍💻

The content they are putting out

What trends they are jumping on

How they write their captions ✍️

How they show up confidently

How they sell their offers

How they connect with their audience

How they spend their time 🌳📚

The list goes on..

All of this is keeping you stuck. ❌

You start to feel like you’re not good enough. 🥺

That your opinion doesn’t matter 😔

You question yourself, why would they care what I have to say? 🤔

You feel like you can’t match their energy so you don’t bother. 🙅🏼‍♀️

Comparison really is the thief of joy.

You don’t need to be more like them, you need to show up as YOUR authentic self. You need to focus on knowing who that is. 🪞

How do you want to show up for your business?

What lights you up?

What message do you feel called to share?

How do you want to run your business?

Stop comparing and start creating. Share your message with the world. There’s enough room for all of us ✨

Start leading the way. Spend more time looking inwards.

Share YOUR story, your experiences and do it in a way that feels aligned to you.

Energy matters ⚡️

Your way deserves to be shared too.

Start living in a way that feels good for you, show up and consume content that makes you feel good, inspired and ready to take action and then do that in a way that feels true to you.

Make sure it’s a strategy that you can get behind, confidently implement and feel good whilst doing it.
