Things I’ll Never Promise to Fix as Your Bridal Makeup Artist ❌
✨Brides, let’s be honest. Makeup is transformative ..but it isn’t a replacement for healthy, cared-for skin. My goal is to enhance your natural beauty, not mask or change it. Here are a few things that need your love before you sit in my chair.
1. Dry, flaky, or peeling skin
Makeup does not erase texture - in fact, it highlights it. Your smooth, glowing base begins with consistent pre-bridal skincare and gentle exfoliation.
2. Dehydrated skin
No foundation can mimic the radiance of well-hydrated skin. Drink your water, nourish your body, and let your skin shine from within.
3. Lack of sleep
I can brighten, correct, and lift - but nothing replaces true rest. Your under eyes will always look their best after a good sleep.
4. Last-minute facials or harsh scrubbing
Fresh irritation will always show through makeup. Please avoid trying new skin treatments too close to your wedding day.
5. Cracked or chapped lips
Seamless lipstick starts with soft, moisturized lips. Hydration + gentle exfoliation = your bridal lip perfection.
6. Changing your face shape with contour
Makeup enhances — it doesn’t alter who you are. You’re already beautifully unique, and I’m here to highlight your best features, not reshape them.
7. Filtered/Photoshopped skin
Real skin has pores, texture, and life - and it photographs gorgeously when prepped properly. I create elegant, skin-like glam, not digital illusions.
8. Constant sweat, rubbing, or touching your face
Makeup is a team effort.
Set your look in place by blotting gently instead of wiping.
9. Lighting that washes out makeup in photos
Sometimes it’s the environment - not the makeup. Great glam + great lighting = magic.
✨My Promise to You
Your makeup will look its absolute best when your skin feels its absolute best.
So let’s prep, hydrate, sleep, nourish, and trust the process together ❤️
