The Village is an interview series that shares the stories of HBCU in LA alumni students. Each episode showcases the brilliance and tenacity of each alumnus as they reveal their sacred dreams of working in Hollywood as a child. They all share the challenges of being Black in a predominantly White industry. The HBCU in LA alumni program has changed the lives of many HBCU students who otherwise may not have secured such prestigious opportunities in the entertainment industry.
