We take the Polestar 2 on an EV road trip from Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada to San Francisco in California. I want to find out via an electric car road trip if the Polestar 2 is a viable used EV since this example has almost 100,000km on the odometer (Hertz rental).

I also wanted to find out if the Polestar 2 is a good choice for EV buyers who do not wish to buy a Tesla. It has many of the same features as a Tesla (battery preconditioning, Supercharger access and route planning to name just three) so it seems to me, at least, a very viable alternative.

I strongly believe that right now is the best time to get yourself a used EV. Prices are much better then they were previously and there are some good deals out there like on the Polestar 2 for example. Plus, if you live in the US, you are also able to purchase one of these direct from Hertz (this is where we get the Polestar 2 for this video).

Finally, since this is a rental from Hertz, it will be interesting to know how it feels and drives after being rented to other individuals for so many years.
