Hi Friend!

For those of you that are new around here - whenever I go in to my office to start work, there is always a fresh orchid somewhere and I light a candle just to set the tone for whatever the day may bring. I haven't shared this in a while...but did you know that Mind Your Business also helps faith-based organizations and ministries? Well, we do!! In fact, 🙋🏾‍♀️ I am the originator of the term Social Ministry!

- defined: The untapped, often underestimated opportunity the local church has to disciple and change lives through its online platforms.

𝗦 𝗢 𝗖 𝗜 𝗔 𝗟 𝗠 𝗜 𝗡 𝗜 𝗦 𝗧 𝗥 𝗬
Before your Social Ministry can go beyond the pews and four walls of your church, there has to be some key elements in place within your organizational structure, one of those being a Kingdom Culture.

What is Kingdom Culture? I'm so very glad you asked! As I discuss in my book, "Go Ye Into All The World Wide Web", there definitely is a practical, business side to the work a ministry needs to do online. However the practicalities of this work cannot be your only focus and what drives your team's goals and objectives. You must develop a kingdom-minded, Christ-centered culture within your leadership and the teams they manage (It may be a shocker to you, but this isn't the default in many churches).

A Kingdom Culture that understands at the end of the day, the primary function of your church's digital presence is MINISTRY. This isn't accomplished in an all-staff email - it has to be the day-to-day culture in the organization, and that starts at the top with the Pastor and other key leaders.
