Thank y’all’all so very very much for the kind birthday wishes and gifts!!! I’m 59 now. One year until the rubicon of 60! I got this amazing angry food cake with almond hunted chocolate whipped cream frosting and it is like manna air so light yet so fulfilling, from Wim and Melanie from Hello Bakery ( go there immediately as possible because… y’all!!!! ) got to see both of them and Liba and Taunya. I got a cool travel satchel with matching sleeping mask, a sonic toothbrush and water pick from Daniel and awesome visit with him and Tome and great meals with them. And, Paul got me a bee pin for my collection that’s silver and onyx and took me to dinner at Chez Fon Fon and that was an incredible meal. I mean, truly, the triggerfish I had was the best cooked piece of fish I’ve ever had and the scallops and escargot and chicken liver pate all completely astonishingly delicious! So thanks to everyone for my beautiful 59th wrap around the sun!! (Forgive the wrinkly old dude for being so old and wrinkly!)

So some of you all might know that my mom passed in December… a life changing event for sure. I’m looking down the road at other likely life changing events. In the meanwhile I’ll be participating in some events presentations of my book ,”Animals Alphabet Soup Volume 1”!

One event at the Homewood Library for their Pages and Palettes monthly event bringing art and literature together for children on April 23rd the day after Earth Day! I’m very excited about that! That also means that I need to get by Little Professor Bookstore and ask if they’d like to carry my books since they normally supply the Homewood Library for events… fingers crossed 🤞🏼🤞🏼!

Also the Centerpoint Library children’s librarian is interested in talking with me about “Animals Alphabet Soup Volume 1” and possibly creating or participating in an event there! Also very exciting! Look for more information about this soon!

The date has yet to be determined for a reading event at East Village Arts but is in my schedule to be determined so look for that event as well!

Updates will be coming more readily!
