About bringing children to the salon
I want to clarify that I do not allow children to accompany me during a service, as this is not a safe place for them due to the chemicals, dust, and also because they would get bored being here.
In the case of young clients under 18 who come to get gel nails, I do allow their mom to accompany them. In fact, I have had clients come with their daughters and I had no problem with it. I’d like to ask the moms who have come with their girls to confirm this?
Personally, I believe that from the age of 17 they are old enough to attend their appointment alone, but I also understand and respect that every family sees things differently. It has never been my intention to offend anyone, I’m simply sharing how I perceive it from my own experience.
During appointments I prefer to speak little, not because of a lack of trust, but to keep a calm environment and avoid misunderstandings. My focus is always on giving my best in the service. Still, there are people who choose to look for problems where there are none, and that only confirms to me that I can’t please everyone but I can continue working with respect, quality, and love for what I do.
