and I tend to find places that feel more like home. So why should it be any different when we head out to San Diego to run the marathon. The Big Kitchen became our spot as we were fortunate to nab the same booth for breakfast the day before and after the marathon. Great food and a phenomenal vibe we’re to order. We even got to meet Judy the owner and de facto mayor of the Golden Hill neighborhood where the restaurant resides. Being there felt like kismet and we look forward to getting back. Thank you to the entire Big Kitchen fam for your hospitality.
Truly a counter culture, keep on truckin’ ❤️

So we did a thing today. Our first marathon in San Diego. Emotionally and physically spent. Thank you for all those that were supportive during this process. Shout out to for pretty much for equipping us from head to toe and their encouragement. We also can’t say enough about the people of San Diego for opening up their city and their hearts to all the runners. There are two that could not have made it through with out you.

Hooray for Hollywood. Dinner more than 100 years of Hollywood history steeped in these walls. The joint that introduced Fettucini Alfredo to the States. A recipe which was brought back to from Italy by Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks. To this day you can still dine in the Charlie Chaplin booth who had begun dining in the establishment back when Hollywood blvd. was still a dirt road. They did not disappoint. ❤️

In 1974 Gary Gygax created Dungeons and Dragons a role playing game and that has grown in its popularity to the point where today more than 15 million people in North America alone create worlds where the imagination flourishes and bonds are formed. It was a true pleasure to sit down with dungeon master and world creator and not only discuss D&D but all sorts of rpg including the one that started his passion; Paranoia.
