We hope, through Payal's story, we are able to change the future of kids, around the world, who continue to suffer from treatable conditions like cataract. Awareness, on our part and timely intervention can take so many unnecessary hurdles away from the life of kids, who suffer because the grown-ups around them don't know. We are so pleased to announce the completion of our first documentary Payal, I See Now. Yay!
Directed by Shruti Sharma, Payal, I See Now, is a story of a young girl, who suffers from cataract, for a long time, before one person changes all that for her. It all starts with one person, right?
Cataract is treatable and yet it is a leading cause of permanent blindness in kids as well as in adults. Due to her inability to see clearly, Payal faced not only challenges at home but at school too. Payal's courageous side comes forward once she undergoes surgery and is able to clearly.
Releasing soon, we hope you enjoy and learn from this short doc as much as we did.
