We did things differently. And now we’re seeing others do the same. 👀

When I built Leo&Opal, I never understood why a business should have to squeeze itself into a pre made package?!?

Different businesses have different goals, budgets, audiences, teams and gaps in their knowledge.

So we chose a different approach… from DAY ONE!!

We build our Social Media + Business Support around what your business actually needs.

Sometimes that’s full social media management. Other times it’s content, engagement, Meta Ads or strategy. It could be PA and business support. And it has also been a completely bespoke combination of the lot.

We look at what’s already working, where the gaps are and where our expertise can genuinely make a difference… then we recommend accordingly.

And if we’re working collaboratively rather than taking over completely? We’ll guide you on your side too, because everything still needs to work together to get the best result.

What makes me particularly proud is that we’re now seeing other business owners and businesses within our industry recognise the benefit of working this way and introduce similar approaches themselves. 🤍

And I genuinely LOVE that. Because when something you’ve believed in, refined and seen work for your clients starts influencing how others work too, that’s pretty exciting.

Seven years in the making. 🥹🤍

This isn’t an overnight success story. It’s years of working evenings, gaining qualifications, building experience, showing up consistently, learning, becoming a mumma twice and slowly creating a business that could eventually become my full time focus.

The income milestones are something I’m incredibly proud of… not because the goal was ever simply to earn more, but because they’re proof that the little idea I had in 2019 became a real, reputable and sustainable business.

But perhaps my favourite measure of success? Four of the clients who trusted me back in 2021 are still Leo&Opal clients today. 🥹

And now, in 2026, there’s a team of us, we’re picking up the keys to our first office and I get to run this business around school holidays, childminder pick ups and LIFE.

There has been a LOT of hard work behind every one of these slides. And I’d do it all again. 🤍

Here’s to whatever comes next for Leo&Opal. ✨

I’m becoming increasingly intentional about who Leo&Opal works with as we grow… the right businesses, the right people and collaborations that genuinely fit.

Business strategy meetings, client work, dogs in the office (as they should be), soft play & picky bits, home for the bedtime shift… and then straight back to work.

But one of my favourite parts of this particular day was having my sister working alongside me. 🥹

Leo&Opal is growing, the team is growing, the clients we get to work with are incredible… and somehow amongst the absolute chaos of running a business and raising a family, I’m building something I’m ridiculously proud of.

The juggle is VERY real. The gratitude is even bigger. 🤍

Growth doesn’t always look like a bigger number on a spreadsheet. 🤍

Sometimes it looks like building a team, creating better systems, protecting your existing client relationships, getting the keys to an office… and finally being confident enough to say “this isn’t the right fit” when an enquiry comes in.

Leo&Opal is growing but I’m determined that we grow well, not just quickly.

More support. Better structure. Incredible people. And the same level of care for every business that trusts us. 🥹

And apparently, somewhere along the way, “I” became “we.” Still getting used to that one. 😂

How my brain sounds trying to do absolutely everything at once 😂

Grow the business sustainably. Be present with the kids. Make the most of summer. Save money. Also… make memories. Check in on everyone. Move my body. Eat properly. Reply to the messages. Remember the life admin... forgot I was a wife for a moment then too.

And then, naturally, one completely unhelpful intrusive thought enters the chat. 😅

Very much in my “wow, is this really my life, but why are there 47 tabs open in my brain?” era.

Chaos? Slightly. Grateful? Massively. Balanced? Always working on it. 🤍
