Alright, time for a serious dose of awesome today from JO Galicia! He finished up the latest piece of art, an epic 2-page splash drawing of the characters from our series in battle with a zombie horde

I’ve been making posts lately and hinting towards this next project, and am pleased to finally be able to announce it: we are doing a limited-time run of Halloween themed trading cards!

The set of 9 exclusive cards will come in a foil pack like you’d find at the store. Plus, the epic drawing in this post will be split up and printed on the backs of all 9 cards, to form an amazing connected piece of art!

The project will launch on Kickstarter sometime in the upcoming weeks, and I’ll be sure to share links once it’s ready! Thanks for all your support, and I hope you’re as excited about this as I am!

It’s been about 9 days since our last post. But the team has been working hard. This post here is to give a look at everything the team has done over the last week and a half.

First up, main series artist and talented master Jo Galicia has been doing amazing work on some Halloween-themed horror pinups! These are for a new project that will be finished and fully announced sometime next week.

Secondly, Cam Hughett our talented colorist has finished up the rewards for backers from our Kickstarter. This is the last trading card and a pin-up, which are being printed and sent to all backers who ordered a physical copy of the book.

Last but certainly not least, Dave Lentz our letterer extraordinaire and all-around versatile team member has put together an awesome logo!

There are also a couple of awesome variant covers that have been drawn for when we publish our full-size Issue #1. But I’m going to hold off on posting those until a later date, as I am working to get a couple more 😊

JO Galicia, our masterful artist extraordinaire, has started working on a new project for Planetary Paranormal! This is one that I’m really excited for, and can’t wait to show everybody what we are planning. More info to be coming over the next few weeks!

Edit: No longer a WIP! Jo finished up the art almost as soon as I hit the ‘Post’ button—he’s that fast!

Well it took a couple hours of online searching and a few days of waiting for shipping, but I finally found bags and boards that are ashcan sized which I am going to use for my inaugural mini-comic!

Note—we are not affiliated with Marvel in any way. This issue of X-Men Classic is from my personal collection and is solely being used for demonstration purposes.

Note 2—the mini comic in my picture is not a copy of the finished product, nor is it representative of the finished product’s quality. It is merely a prototype.

It is said that before Americans expanded our civilization into the Ohio Territory, the forest was filled with so many trees that a squirrel could easily travel from the state’s present-day Northern border (Lake Erie) to the Southern border (Ohio River), without touching the ground a single time.

What kind of creatures could have lived in such an expansive forest? Bears, wolves, and more to be sure. But if you throw in a magical backdrop like our comic series, then the possibilities become endless. This amazing drawing which was recently completed by the masterful JO Galicia showcases a few of the goblins who lived in the region. These guys will show up in either Issue 2 or 3 sometime next year!

We have unlocked the 2nd and 3rd stretch goals for the Kickstarter!!

Both of these beautiful pieces of art will be colored by Cam, and printed as trading cards.

Those cards will be added to the packages of everybody who pledges for a physical copy of the book.

Don’t miss out on the next fantasy sensation!

Planetary Paranormal begins with our inaugural 8-page mini-comic. It is the start of an epic tale, detailing the first time that the Buckeye Wizard sent his students on a team mission.

We are already funded, and still have almost 2 weeks to go. If you love magic, adventure, great artwork, and generally fun stories then you definitely want to pledge for your copy today.

Not only has our comic Kickstarter been fully funded, we’ve started unlocking stretch goals! The first one is a 2” x 3” trading card and will be included in the packages for everyone who backed for a physical copy of the mini-comic 😊
