Curtain Blue is singer and producer Abhishek Bhatia's solo Moniker.
Fusing haunting vocal melodies with electronica and brass-driven brass, he aims to create a textural blend which can uniquely be called his own. Curtain Blue draws inspiration from artists such as Radiohead, Charles Mingus, Apparat, and Flume, while creating a niche for itself.
For the live setup of Curtainblue, Abhishek has collaborated with various Indian instrumentalists, putting up an ensemble with a trombone player.

Over the last couple of years, Abhishek Bhatia has performed at a number of festivals in India and abroad, including The Great Escape Festival at Brighton, UK, Bacardi NH7 Weekender and the flagship edition of the Magnetic Fields Festival in Rajasthan, where Berlin/ Los Angeles-based producer Robot Koch saw him perform for the first time. Their initial meeting led to a musical collaboration between the two on Koch’s acclaimed ‘TSUKI’ EP, released via MONKEY TOWN Records earlier in 2015, and Koch's debut album "Hypermoment" via MONKEY TOWN RECORDS again.

April 2015 saw Curtain Blue release his debut EP, ‘Drones’. The four-track EP struck a brave venture into a weird, wonderful and unchartered territory of modern electronica where no Indian producer has really succeeded. Equal parts headphones listening and dance floor friendly, the EP features some skilfully produced, textural percussive elements and haunting vocals.

To support the debut EP, Curtain Blue toured the country and abroad at numerous dates during April and May, covering venues like The South Bank Centre, UK, The Great Escape Festival, Brighton UK, Bristol, Glasgow, Scotland and all parts of India. His brand new EP S.T.R.I.P.E.S. drops tonight at midnight on EQR stay tuned!

Ranjani Ramadoss is a Chennai-bred musician currently based out of Bangalore. After making music and playing several shows with her 2 bands – Kelvikkuri (jazz fusion) and Paula & the Associates (Neo-soul/pop) - for a couple of years, RANJ is her solo project, launched in 2021. As she carves her identity into the indie music space, she tells her stories in English and Tamil, and builds versatility with every release, each occupying a different musical and lyrical space than the last. She is influenced by wide range of artists from Jorja Smith, Yebba, Cleo Sol and Jhene Aiko to rappers like Little Simz, Smino, No Name and BIA. Being trained for over 12 years in Carnatic music and another 4+ years in Opera gives RANJ a unique set of tools to be able to seamlessly transition from working on Carnatic fusion one day, to a 4-on-the-floor pop melody the next. She holds on to this duality in her music, aspiring to showcase and celebrate her roots while also making music for a global audience.

Clifr is a Bangalore based musician, playing the role of a music producer and multi Instrumentalist. For the past two years he's been working with his band KELVIKKURI (jazz fusion) and on his solo music. Clifr released his debut solo project in 2020 State ‘O’ Mind Feat. Lojal followed by Ep 593 Vol.2. His musical identity is a huge influence of hip-hop, trap and experiments with Indian instruments as he goes on to collaborate with a wide range of musicians.

Dapher Laloo, who also is known by his moniker ‘Dappest ’, is a Rap-artist, vocalist, composer, whose sound is rooted in African-American culture and other Western influences. His love for music extends beyond composing and into the art of vocal arrangement.

Adiel Massar, professionally known as ‘adL’, is a Music-Producer, beat-maker, Cellist, Arranger &
DJ from Shillong, India. His music incorporates a wide range of genres drawing influence from
western, Afro and eastern cultures. The most dominant sound of his music are elements that come
from his interpretation of African-American music viz. Hiphop, R&B, Jazz, Afro-beat to name a few.

Tribemama Marykali aka Anna Katharina Valayil, an Indian of Malayali descent, grew up in Nigeria, which is just the tip of her multicultural background. She spent her university days in Melbourne, Australia and trained as a pilot in Bendigo, exploring the richness of the Aussie diaspora. This unique artist uses her distinctive skills as a singer and songwriter to express herself through music and art voicing against the oppression of the human spirit and also the heartaches of a woman of color. We are like blades of grass in the universal energy field and Marykali (as she addresses her higher self) dances and sways with her music to remind everyone that we are universal beings and we must stay rooted as one in it.

Sunflower Tape Machine is the pseudonym and experimental solo project of full time indie/psychedelic rock, bedroom pop, and shoegaze musician, Aryaman Singh. Hailing from Chennai and inspired by the sounds of bands like Tame Impala, Dayglow, Men I Trust, and, My Bloody Valentine, his music consists of wavy and ambient textures, dreamy chords and, 80’s inspired analog synth sounds.

Dohnraj & The Peculiars is a live act performing original music written and produced by Dohnraj
accompanied by Dan Thomas on Drums, Arpan Kumar on Bass, Sid Gupta on Lead Guitar and
Ashrey Goel on Keyboard.

Dohnraj’s childhood fascination with the likes of Michael Jackson, Prince, and David Bowie led him to become an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and dancer with an infectious stage presence. Mixing these influences with the new wave sounds of the 80s on his first album, the music takes on an entirely new identity of its own as Dohnraj curiously explores the universal themes of love,
everyday conflicts of living with unrelenting passion and optimism. The Peculiars, bursting with their own individuality, add even more colour to this kaleidoscopic live act.
