Muyiwa Akinyemi, deputy managing director, United Bank for Africa Plc, says the federal government should leverage the opportunities in the creative industry for sustainable export earnings. Akinyemi said this on Saturday at the annual conference of the finance correspondents association of Nigeria (FICAN) in Lagos. Prudential Zenith Life Insurance Limited (“PZL”) has announced its audited financial results for the year ended 31st December 2021, recording a 75 per cent growth in profit after tax (PAT) of N1.13 billion compared to the N646 million recorded in the corresponding period in 2020. The results, which was approved by the Board of Directors of Prudential Zenith and the insurance industry regulator, the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), shows that Gross Written Premium (GWP) and Annualized Premium Equivalent (APE) grew year on year by 16.3 per cent and 9.3 per cent respectively....

Jaiz Bank has appointed Dr. Sirajo Salisu as the Managing Director/Cheif Executive Officer of the bank. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has reiterated its commitment to developing the commodities ecosystem in Nigeria to boost its non-oil sector. The Director-General of SEC, Lamido Yuguda, stated this at the 2022 annual conference of the Finance Correspondents Association of Nigeria (FICAN), held in Lagos over the weekend, with the theme 'Boosting Domestic Capacity for Sustainable Export Earnings'.
