On This Day in Star Trek. 1994 — Star Trek: The Next Generation finale “All Good Things…” airs
This is one of the most important dates in Trek history. The legendary TNG finale aired on May 23, 1994, closing out seven seasons and transitioning the cast into the film era. 2001 — Star Trek: Voyager finale “Endgame” airs
Seven years later to the day, Voyager’s finale “Endgame” aired on May 23, 2001, bringing the crew home from the Delta Quadrant.
These two finales airing on the same date is why fans call May 23 the “Finale Doubleheader.”
