Upwork is hands down the best general platform for freelancers! I used it to first start building my business.
I’ve gotten great clients through it—and as recently as yesterday, friends were asking me how to get started.
If you’ve been curious too, I put together this step-by-step guide based on what actually worked for me.
One of my first clients even referred me to two more people off-platform. It really does build over time.
Save this for later, share it with a friend who’s been thinking about freelancing, and feel free to DM me if you want help getting your profile or pitch in shape 💼✨

These are my favorite recipe courtesy of 🍳 They’re so easy, filling, healthy, and convenient for those busy weeks! The recipe I like to make is: 1) Stir fry all of your week’s leftover veggies & set aside, 2) whisk 6 eggs & add 1/2 cup of liquid egg whites (not mandatory, but I noticed it makes the bites fluffier), 3) portion out cooked veggies into muffin tins (I prefer the silicone version for non-stick), 4) add egg mixture (about 1/4 cup per tin), and bake at 490 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 min. Make sure to salt and pepper everything! Follow for more & lifestyle content!

When I describe the experience of going to a Korean restaurant to people who have never been, I always say that you get when you first sit down. It’s the equivalent of getting chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant. You can tell the quality of the restaurant by the banchan you get (and the variety). I never know what anything is, but you just have fun trying everything 💗 It’s usually a lot of pickled foods and root vegetables, so everything is really healthy (plus you always get a little potato salad) & contributes to living a healthy lifestyle (& good skin of course). For this edition of , I take you to my favorite ‘fast casual’ Korean restaurant called BCD Tofu House. There are several locations in LA, Orange County, Dallas, and NYC, but the one I frequent is the location on Wilshire, which has been there since 2000. It’s open 24 hours, and…it’s ALWAYS busy. For Skin Food, I generally like to share healthy recipes that help you glow from the inside out, but life is about BALANCE. Certain Korean dishes are great ‘guilty pleasures,’ because they can be decadent but don’t make you feel like you overdid it. Many of the dishes are packed with vegetables and probiotics, so whenever I’m feeling like I want to indulge, I do a drive by at BCD. I have a few different things I like to order, but in this video I show you one of my favorite combos! Make sure to follow more Korean-food inspired content!
