Do yourself a favor and have some patience. Here's what happened to me this evening. First let me tell you that I had no business going since I'm trying to watch what I eat.
I drive to Loves to get some McDonald's. Drive-thru is long, so I go inside. It takes a bit, no big deal. I go back outside and there is a semi parked super close, kind of blocking me from leaving. Ok, again, no biggie. I'll just eat in my car. I'm sitting there enjoying every single bite. I look up and see the Blue Rhino. I think, ok, it's either telling me I'm a fat ass or I'm gonna have gas later. 🤷‍♀️ I continue eating...screw that rhino. I get done eating, look through my emails, respond to orders and 30+ minutes later the semi is STILL unloading. I could have gotten out with a few back and forths 30 minutes ago if this truck wouldn't have parked cockeyed. (And who tf spends over 30 minutes in the gas station!)
I start my car cause it's starting to get toasty. Only to see that I have --- miles until empty!😬😳
Karma is a bitch - shouldn't have drove to McDonald's.
But, patience is key. I wasn't upset for 1 second. I'm a pretty patient person to begin with, if I do say so myself.

I changed the oil in the Ole John Deere tonight. I now know how to do an oil change, fix the guts in the toilet, wire and put up a new light fixture, change an outlet...I'm pretty much a badass.
Do yourself a favor and learn to do something new. It makes you feel good once it's accomplished.
Btw....the mower didn't blow up....phew 💥

Tonight, I made a good dinner, but it was awful. Not the dinner, just the making it part. I need a chef.
Tonight, I asked how much homework, and it was awful too. AWFUL
Tomorrow, we are supposed to get a lot of snow, and this is definitely NOT AWFUL! I'm super excited! Like a kid is excited!

What is something that you smell that immediately takes you back in time? Mine is Lilacs. My grandma Marshall always had a lilac bush right next to her screened in porch on the farm. We were always there when we were kids. Still one of my favorite smells.

Ask your child how much homework they have as soon as they get home. Not at 9:45, like I just did!
So, instead of saying, "child, do you have homework?"
Say, "child, how much homework do you have?"
