Today I started cardio again after 5 YEARS of avoiding it! 😆

Within the first 1:48 seconds (yes that’s one minute not hour😆) I felt all the emotions of the possibility of dying. Here’s how it went…

✅ 30 seconds- “I think I’m having an asthma attack.” Checked lungs and they were getting enough air.

✅ 60 seconds into cardio - “My chest hurts, I really think I’m having a heart attack!” Checked lungs and realized no heart attack.

✅ 1:20 seconds - “My head hurts and feels funny, I think im having a stroke!” Checked head and realized it was just getting hot from the heaving breathing and increased heart rate.

✅ 1:40 - “Maybe I should just quit and start again tomorrow when I feel better.” Just keep pushing.

Your mind will try desperately to protect you, even if it puts you into fight or flight in less than 2 minutes of cardio. This is what it was designed to do… protect you.

However, sometimes you need to check the messages your mind is sending you to realize that despite feeling distress or fear, you are still healthy and strong. Sometimes your greatest test of strength doesn’t lie within the walls of your muscles but within the limitations of your mind.

How many times have you walked away from your goals because your mind convinced you of the illusion that you cannot accomplish them? Maybe it’s time to test the self-imposed limits you’ve placed on yourself and reach beyond the discomfort.

You are capable of achieving some of the greatest achievements so today it’s time to say yes to your goals and see what you’re capable of. I KNOW you can do it!💪🙌💕

Rescue pets can often give us more unconditional love than we can give ourselves.

When you adopt or foster a homeless pet, you get as much love, kisses, loyalty, and joy as you do when you buy a pet from a breeder.

If your heart is leading you to adopt or foster a homeless pet, please check your local animal shelter. There are so many beautiful souls just waiting to bring you the greatest love you may ever know. 🐾❤️🐶🐱
