Kitkat & m&m’s Cake
Cake ingredients:
⅓ 1 cup flour
Half a cup of cocoa
1 cup of sugar
Half a cup of chocolate granules
Half a cup of boiling water
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate
Half a teaspoon of baking powder
Half a teaspoon of salt
Ingredients for the dressing sauce:
1 large cup of any kind of chocolate, as desired
1 packet of cream
Half a small cup of sugar
Half a small cup of butter
To decorate:
15 kitkat fingers
M&M’s
Cake preparation:
Preheat the oven at 180 C.
Stir the butter with sugar, stir it well until it mixed.
Gradually add the eggs, stirring after each ingredient, then add the vanilla.
In a separate bowl, stir together the flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and stir well.
Add boiling water and chocolate granules and mix well.
Spread the mixture evenly on the cake tray, then put the tray in the oven for 30-45 minutes, until it holds together.
Prepare the cream while baking the cake, stir the butter with the sugar, milk and cocoa.
Take the cakes out of the oven.
Spread the cream mixture on the face and sides of the cake, then fix the Kit Kat chocolate fingers on the sides of the cake and spread the M&M's on the face until it is completely covered.
Prepare the dressing sauce:
Melting the chocolate on a water bath by boiling a quantity of water in a deep saucepan, placing the chocolate in another solution and placing it on hot water with butter to melt it well.
The water bath method is used to avoid burning the chocolate.
Mix the melted chocolate with the cream and sugar until the ingredients are well mixed.
Then put it on a medium heat until it starts to boil and the need to keep stirring to avoid burning.
Remove the sauce from the heat and leave it to cool to be used later in cake decorating.
