‘When you’re young, it’s all about the gifts – diamonds, jewelry… honey, I got some e-x-p-e-n-s-i-v-e gifts back in the day. But at some point, you realize… what do you give someone who has everything? You give them your time.’
That line stuck with me. Because now, it’s not about outdoing last year’s present – it’s about making memories. About being each other’s “gang” even when our tastes, our bodies, and our lifestyles change.
