Charles “Jack” Walls III died Saturday, August 23, 2025 of natural causes while still in the custody of the ADC.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his victims and their families, in what has to be a very emotional time. We hope that you can sleep better tonight knowing that this evil is gone from the earth.

To the people that know of the secrets he took to the grave, now is your opportunity to come forward.

Upon hearing of Jack’s death, Charles Peckat, former Lonoke City Police Chief asked us to share this statement.

It’s with sadness we share the passing of Heath’s aunt Bonnie. We are so grateful to have met her and her willingness to share so much of her life with us during the podcast. Our deepest sympathies are with Heath, Janice and Bonnie’s family and friends.

When we first started this podcast, we didn't know a lot about juvenile justice reform but we have learned so much throughout this journey. As we mentioned in our recent bonus episode, we've had so many people reach out asking what they can do to help. Because of this, we've started a petition to hopefully help bring about change for Heath and many others that were sentenced to life without parole at the age of 20 or younger in Arkansas. Our partnership has an interesting backstory we thought important to share.

Hunter met Heath a couple of years ago while working as an outside contractor on a project at Tucker Max. Heath works in the boiler room at the prison and their paths crossed frequently. They formed a friendship during that time and Heath introduced Hunter and his wife Ashlyn Hoggard Everett to us. They quickly became part of the Life Without team and strong supporters of Heath.
