Arguably the best perk of having kick ass photographer friends travel with you around the world, is that they are always on hand to make you look so FREAKING COOL! Even if you are just standing in a the middle of a rice field in Japan 🇯🇵.

This was a fun little spot we found on our walk around Shibuya! It was cool fashion retailer that let us use their Rubix cube inspired walls and floors for a cinematic photography session!

Honestly Japan is the ultimate playground for photographers and creatives and I highly encourage everyone to go visit! You will come away with some of the best shots of your life!

Carry yourself like the story can’t move forward without you, because you’re the main character and the world is your audience.

Finally had the chance to go through some of the candid street photography I captured during a night in Shibuya, Tokyo and wow… this city is the ultimate playground for photographers. From neon-lit Tokyo cityscapes, to hidden traditional alleyways, every corner feels cinematic, like it’s waiting for its own movie moment.

2025 has already been one wild ride and I’m grateful for every shoot, every journey, and every opportunity that’s come along and allowed me to capture parts of this world we live in!

A little bit of me for the feed 👋

About a month ago, I finally moved into my very first studio photography space, a HUGE milestone for me as a creator and photographer! Between work, shoots, and travel, I’ve been slowly building a setup that feels comfortable, creative, and inspiring, while still keeping those trademark cinematic vibes that I love to bring into my portrait work.

These are some self portraits I shot using my brand-new feature wall panels and a couple of old LED lights left over from my streaming days. Super simple setup, but the results turned out moody, dynamic, and exactly the kind of cinematic portrait photography I want to experiment with more.

Safe to say I’ll definitely be shooting more studio portraits, cinematic self portraits, and creative moody photography in this space 👀

To catch this shot we had to break some rules and let Tokyos light rewrite them.

In the buzz and electric glow of Shibuya, we found this cool little club where reflections bent light into kaleidoscopes, and mirrors turned into canvases for cinematic portrait photography! Shooting here meant chasing neon glows, breaking symmetry, and capturing the raw edge of the city’s energy.

This moody set of portraits pushed past the ordinary, embracing warped reflections, fractured light, and the thrill of creating in a city that never stands still.

These cinematic portraits with are a love letter to neon nights, creative freedom, and the art of bending the rules to create something unforgettable.

Couldn’t not go to Tokyo Japan and not take the opportunity to Photograph their car scene! You can’t walk 3ft in Shibuya...

Couldn’t not go to Tokyo Japan and not take the opportunity to Photograph their car scene!

You can’t walk 3ft in Shibuya or Akihabara without an iconic tuner car drifting past!
I am still such a novice when it comes to shooting cars and automotive photography in general..still learning the curves and the angles ya know 😜..but I’m still pleased with how this super lime green Mitsubishi Evo turned out!

Point me in the direction of some more epic cars. I gotta get the practise in.

It’s Q-Con Day 1 and it seems the Heavens have opened!

I’m still determined to deliver the best results I can using sheltered areas in and around Botanic Gardens.

I still have some slots left towards the end of the day Saturday, for anyone who wants to book in for some cosplay shoots 😁.

Hot Tip of the day - An umbrella makes a very good practical prop ☔️
