🎒 it’s back to school shenanigans in Sweden – after a long summer break! 📚☀️

The Swedish school year runs from mid-August to the beginning of June, with breaks in October, around Christmas, in February and around Easter.

Here are 5 other interesting facts about Swedish schools(lågstadiet, mellanstadiet och högstadiet)

🍽️ School lunch is provided every school day for all students aged 6–16.

🔐 Every student(lågstadiet gets an unlocked space, but with a closed case for change and extra clothes, incase they get messy😊 you know what I mean😊 (mellanstadiet och högstadiet) gets their own locker or space where they can store things. – so as to keep their stuff save and keep their backs healthy😊

📝 Students don't get any grades until Year 6 (when they're around 12) – but they get regular feedback and development plans throughout the early years as well.

🏊‍♀️ Swimming lessons are part of the curriculum – not just for fun in pools, lakes and seas, but also for safety.

🌲 Nature is part of the school day – outdoor activities are built in to boost wellbeing and connect with the environment.
