Our favourite Manchester punk trio Aerial Salad. returned to London's Blondies on Friday evening, with City Dog in support! Spoiler alert: it was amazing. Check out Alex's review here:
Aerial Salad have serious balls. How else to explain them dropping a whopping six new songs into their set this evening? It soon becomes clear, though, that the trio are on a red-hot songwriting streak; mixing pop-punk, post punk and the odd tip of the hat to that famed Madchester sound, with superb...

We were looking forward to Explode the TV's return, and they have not disappointed us! Check out Alex's review of their groovy new EP here:
This EP is only ten minutes long, so that’s perfect for my gnat-like attention span. Opener ‘Catching The Rain’ rides in on a fabulously groovy bass line and those shimmering post-punk guitars that Explode The TV have long made their stock in trade.

Nylon Hardcore's debut album ‘Chariot Of The Gods’ was one of our favourite releases of last year, and with new single ‘Enjoy Your View’ just released, we thought it was about time we caught up with them for a chat! Read our interview here:
If I hadn’t gone for a browse in London’s excellent All Ages Records a few months ago, I wouldn’t have heard them playing Sheffield quartet Nylon’s excellent debut album ‘Chariot Of The Gods’ over the PA, and would have missed out on a short-but-great slice of stripped-down and brutally ...

You can always rely on [spunge] to bring some ska-punk sunshine to a cold winter evening, and they thrilled a packed Signature Brew Haggerston on a Friday night, with Stank Finger and Everyone Lies in support! The evening also saw the launch of the P-Rock Tv Documentary:
Spunge, bless them, have long had a fine sense of the ridiculous, and the bizarre antics continue to this day. After all, why make a grand entrance when you could just get on stage and offer the crowd some Doritos? Why not pause mid-set whilst the crowd attempts to construct a human pyramid?
