Hey everyone, been awhile since I posted to this page. While I am no longer doing Daily Throw Yoyo News, I've continued my yoyo journey with making custom counterweights for 5A and my first official batch is going to be released at YoTricks on Halloween. I appreciate all the support and encouragement from all of you over the years and I invite you all to see what I am up to in my next adventure Dedhed Designs

Just picked up the Amusing. Wanted to give a quick review of this awesome throw. Wide and floaty and absolutely true to its name - amusing. A wonderful IRG, fingerspins beautifully, grinds smoothly with almost an organic wedge style rim and the finger gap is perfect for finger grinds on it too. This specific color variant is bead blasted too which makes it so much smoother for talon and palm grinds. Not the longest spinning yoyo but I'm sure a quick bearing swap can change that and the price on it is ridiculously low. This is definitely a hidden gem that I recommend to any player looking to add something very floaty and fun to their collection without spending too much. Just got the Mk1 Yoyos Contact from and loving it! The Contact definitely delivers BIG fun and is by far one of the most beautiful colorways I've ever seen imo. This thing is a blast to play, very comfortably shaped and easy to just get lost throwing for hours. Repeaters are a joy with this, and any arm grind is super satisfying. If you are looking for a bigger organic to add to your collection, this is the one to pick up. Nice job and

Such a great everyday throw, and definitely one of those throws tha performs well all around. The shape gives you a lot of benefits of your typical V shape but rounds out along the edges with some very interesting cuts, giving it a nice organic comfortable feel in a way. The cup allows for for some easy to catch fingerspins and thumb grinds work really well surprisingly, even though there is no true IRG on it. Talon grinds are smooth and because of its shape even palm grinds work well. Plus the gap perfectly locks for fingergrinds. The response and bearing are Magic Yoyos standards but still spins like a champ and regenerations work pretty good too.

For the colorway, the splashes on Y03 Hertz are beautiful, there are some solid color options if you prefer but so far the Galaxy and the Universe ones have been amazing and the finish is bead blasted, which again makes this wonderful for really any grind. Hey everyone, just wanted to share with you all some pretty big personal news today. Beyond Daily Throw, I have a couple other projects that I have been involved with and one of them is making counterweights for 5A yoyoing.

Recently I did an interview with Few and Far Between Yoyos about their upcoming release on the Elysium, and we got to talking about counterweights and they had mentioned how amazing it would be to include a custom designed "planet" counterweight in the packaging of the Elysium. Needless to say, already having experience with working on counterweights for my own personal project I jumped at the opportunity to work with such a passionate team and after weeks of experimenting we are beyond thrilled to be able finally share them with you all. Here is a picture of the first prototypes, courtesy of Few and Far Between Yoyos :)
