Bisexuality Exists Records Berlin-based Record Label. by DJ DASCO Dance music has long been a safe haven for marginalised communities. Say hello then, to DASCO’s Bisexuality Exists Records.

In a world that so often seems increasingly divided and overwhelming, the role of such parties, labels and collectives has never been more important. Established by the renowned Berlin-based DJ/producer, the label celebrates the many diverse corners of dance music, with a focus on women, non-binary and the LGBTQ+ community. Its overriding aim says the label owner, is “to normalise bisexuality in t

oday’s society. I want to inspire people to live how they feel. As a bisexual, it’s important for me to campaign against biphobia and bi-erasure. We are all equal regardless of our sexual choices”. With its ethos firmly established, the label calls on a tried-and-tested musical formula: namely uplifting, discerning, dancefloor-focused house and techno. ”With the label, I want to show the world that music - like life - is rarely ever black or white. There are so many beautiful colours and shades in between, so let's explore, appreciate and enjoy them all…”

The label’s debut release - DASCO’s brilliant ‘Get High With Me’ - perfectly encapsulates these visions, and we already can’t escape the feeling that this is just the beginning. Feel good music whatever the weather, Bisexuality Exists aims to spread love, happiness, peace and unity in its own inimitable way. Early offerings would suggest it’s going to do exactly that.
