Some media claimed that from January all workers in Slovenia will be able to choose shorter working hours, Fridays off, or six-hour days. ❌ Not true — the measure only applies to workers aged 58+ or with 35+ years of service, and only with employer agreement. ✅

Original article (in Slovenian) was published on 12/8/2025; Author: Eva Gračinin An amendment to the Labour Market Regulation Act that will take effect on 1 January allows workers aged over 58 or with at least 35 years of pensionable service to work 80% of full-time hours while receiving 90% of the...

⚠️ But the post never existed. It originated from a satirical account and was mistakenly taken as real. Goršek later admitted he hadn’t realized it was fake and said he would delete his TikTok video, though it remained online at the time of publication.

🍞🇵🇸 In the midst of an ongoing famine in Gaza, images are circulating online showing bottles of food allegedly thrown into the sea for Palestinians.

🖼️ These images are not real — they were generated with AI. Faktoje identified clear signs of manipulation, from distorted hands to bottles floating in impossible ways.

🌊 While some Egyptians have genuinely attempted to send food this way, the viral photos don’t depict it.

🔥 Wildfires have hit southern Serbia in recent weeks, destroying homes and forests.

🗞️ But instead of focusing on facts, the tabloid Informer used the tragedy to spread ethnic hatred, falsely claiming Albanians were behind the fires.

⚖️ The Prosecutor’s Office in Lebane has confirmed that there are no suspects, and no evidence that members of the Albanian community are connected to the fires in Medveđa and Lebane.

🗞️ For years, a false claim has circulated online: that “CIA chief Steven Meyer” said the Srebrenica genocide was fabricated. Posts and images resurface regularly, including around the 30th anniversary this July.

📌 The truth: Steven Meyer does deny the genocide, but he was never “CIA chief” — a title which doesn’t even exist. He served as deputy chief of the Interagency Balkan Task Force, not the head of the CIA.

⚖️ The Srebrenica genocide has been confirmed in verdicts of international courts, despite ongoing denial campaigns.
