Thank you so much to Epilepsy Canada for this amazing feature!! 💜

Indra Egan is a Winnipeg-based pianist living with intractable epilepsy, and the amazing woman behind UNSHAKABLE, a free concert, which celebrates International Epilepsy Day. The concert aims to increase awareness about epilepsy and the people who live with it.

This year’s virtual concert (which you can watch live tonight!!!) will be accepting donations to raise money for epilepsy research through Epilepsy Canada.

Indra’s story is really quite an incredible one. Her drug-resistant seizures haven’t stopped her from pursuing her passion for music; completing her undergraduate degree in Piano Performance, immediately moving on to a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Jazz Piano.

Despite experiencing a tonic-clonic (grand mal) seizure roughly every one to two weeks, Indra continues to fight on. This coming fall she will move to Toronto to do a Master’s in Collaborative Piano at University of Toronto.

We’re so honoured to call Indra an Epilepsy Canada Fundraising Champion. To hear more about her inspiring journey read the full article by following the link in our bio.
