Greyscale was launched in 2012 by Lithuanian producer and DJ grad_u, and photographer Rima
Prusakova, set up as a platform for material from grad_u and close friends whilst Prusakova’s
b/w analogue photography provides the visual identity of the label.

A new chapter in the Greyscale CD Series has just begun with the release of Alexander Kulikov’s full-length album Radio Edit [GRSCL47]. Fresh out last week, it’s already making its mark with a carefully crafted selection of deep sounds.

One of its standouts is Mel. Kulikov shifts into a hazier, sunrise-like space, showing how even shorter pieces can evoke wide-open emotional atmospheres with minimal but precise sound design.

Mel is part of the full 11–track CD album and also included on the vinyl dubplate edition. Dubplates can only be ordered during the pre–order period, open until October 29. After this date, there will be no chance to order.

At Audra Festival 2025 in Kaunas, we joined a Resident Advisor panel to talk about what it really means to run one — the challenges, the freedom, and the responsibility to keep the culture alive.

The panel brought together unique voices from across the scene:
Ellen Allien (BPitch Berlin, UFO Inc.), Grad_U (Greyscale / Redscale), Gramrcy (Peach Discs), and Roe Deers (Good Skills).
