Jana introduces a new genre to the public, she calls it the TRANS-GENRE. She defines this as a genre that includes all other existing genres.

"Kasi sa career ko, gusto kong ipakita sa tao na hindi lang ako nagsti-stick sa isang genre – So, I can do Jazz, I can do Alternative, kahit ano."

Surely dreams don’t just come around chasing you, you need to run after them; currently, Halfnote Music 's Jana Garcia had her collaboration with JOIN THE CLUB and released a song last year that was played on Myx, and now releases her new music Lullabye.

Succeeding in the music industry is not as easy as picking up a guitar then singing in front of a camera in the hopes of being the next music sensation. Every band has their own story to tell with how they started.

Started as rivals, now brothers; sounds like destiny, right? but maybe for these guys it is destiny, they call themselves Baluarte, a name inspired by the place in Alfonso which is a brotherhood of artists. Band members, Bacani and Jay-R, always had a passion for the arts, particularly in music they found their own melody to jam with where they met the rest of Baluarte.

Musicahijo Interview and Photoshoot

Thank you for the fun photoshoot. The shoot with them was full of jokes as they made fun of each other and themselves it was a bit of a challenge to take pictures without bursting out with laughter every five minutes but the group was up for anything they were surely not to beat by the younger bands as they really proved that age is just a number.
