The Legacy Sequel Nobody Asked For? | I Know What You Did Last Summer Review

🎬 I Know What You Did Last Summer (2025) Review:
Had some fun with it—solid cast, a few good scares—but the third act really lost me. The horror elements fell flat, and the legacy sequel stuff didn’t quite land. Gave it a 6/10.

We delve into the captivating chemistry between Lois Lane, portrayed by Rachel Brosnahan, and Superman in the new movie. It's a fun, whimsical sci-fi adventure that may surprise some purists with its modern, politically-aware take. Explore the strengths of Lois and how the adaptation connects with today's world.

Jurassic World: Rebirth – A Mixed Dino Bag 🦖 (Review)

Some solid dino action and Spielberg-style nostalgia… but it takes way too long to get going. Scarlett and Mahershala do what they can, but the first act is rough and the ending’s predictable. Still, it’s fun if you love dinosaurs.
Score: 6.5/10

We dive into Jurassic World: Rebirth, giving it a 6.5/10. Praising the direction and script that harkens back to classic films, we also highlight the unlikable characters and predictable plot. But, the dumb, fun dinosaur action provides plenty of enjoyment! Thanks for watching!

Is F1 the Next Top Gun: Maverick?

Brad Pitt hits the racetrack in F1, the latest from Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski. With cutting-edge cockpit cameras, slick racing sequences, and a familiar “old mentor vs. young hotshot” story, does F1 live up to the hype—or does it run out of gas? In this review, I break down what worked, what dragged, and whether this high-octane blockbuster is worth your time.

28 Years Later Review – Beautiful, Brutal, and a Bit Broken

In today’s review, we’re diving into 28 Years Later, the long-awaited sequel to Danny Boyle’s iconic 28 Days Later. With standout performances, stunning visuals, and a haunting atmosphere, this movie had a lot going for it—but it didn’t completely land for me. From inventive worldbuilding and emotional performances (shoutout to Alfie Williams and Jodie Comer) to a somewhat disjointed three-act structure, this film is bold and beautiful but not without flaws. I give it a solid 7/10. Tune in to hear why.

How to Train Your Dragon Live Action Review: Surprisingly Soars!

In today’s review, I dive into the brand new live-action remake of How to Train Your Dragon—and yes, it’s a shot-for-shot adaptation of the beloved DreamWorks original. But is that a good thing?

We talk about what works (faithful storytelling, strong emotional core, great visual effects) and what doesn’t (some stiff directing, miscast ensemble, and awkward animation-to-live-action transitions).

I also break down why hiring the original director was a genius move and how this remake stands out compared to other lackluster Disney adaptations.

Whether you're a die-hard fan or just looking for a family-friendly summer flick, this one might just win you over. I gave it a solid 7 out of 10.

Ballerina: High-Style, High-Action, Low Plot

In this episode, I review Ballerina, the newest installment in the John Wick universe starring Ana de Armas. Does it live up to the franchise’s reputation for breathtaking action? I dig into the film’s operatic beauty, Ana de Armas’ standout performance, and where the story excels—and falls apart. Plus, I touch on a surprise appearance by Keanu Reeves that might just scratch that Wick itch.

Is it perfect? Not quite. But if you're in the mood for a beautifully choreographed thrill ride with heart, Ballerina might hit the mark.
