Hello 👋 and belated new year well wishes for 2022! We hope the year has started off on the right foot for you. We've taken a bit of time off Insta lately to concentrate on finalising Issue 3 (feeling a lot like this beautiful illustration 👆🙃 but also getting excited for another cracker of an issue!). Hats off to all the jugglers and multi-taskers out there! May 2022 be kind to you all. Onwards and upwards as they say. 💫

I was talking to my friend yesterday over some vino and we came to the conclusion that as mothers who balance parenting, working, connecting, maintaining friendships, relationships, brainstorming new ideas, we don’t give ourselves enough credit nor time to slow down just a little. We so often get sucked into this vortex of to do lists, that we forget to remember that there’s neither guilt nor shame to be found in just taking a moment for ourselves. So here’s to all the moms (and dads too for that matter! We see you doing magic!), take a moment, raise a glass and celebrate you doing the best you can. 🥂
