The latest study confirming what most of us already knew. Independently practicing midlevels are a danger to patients. A complete and utter disgrace. Florida allows NPs independent practice rights. It's especially strange that they permitted NPs but not PAs or CRNAs. AFAP doesn't condone any midlevel independent practice but NPs are the LEAST trained of all midlevels. Florida is letting its residents know that they do not deserve high quality healthcare.
