Latest episode of my "In the Hot Seat" podcast now live, with Northern Ireland's very own BLK BOX CEO/MD and Founder Greg Bradley.

Hear from Greg on the challenges & huge opportunities faced throughout the last 18 months of the pandemic, his approach to leading a c. 100-employee strong team, the importance of continuously moving forward to the next opportunity and much, much more.

For the latest episode of the "In the Hot Seat" podcast I had the great privilege to speak with one of my rugby heroes while growing up playing the game, Gordon D'Arcy.

In what was one of the most enjoyable chats I've had to date, we talked through Gordon's playing career in great detail - from childhood and schools rugby all the way to his retirement in 2015, alongside record-breaking appearances for Leinster Rugby and Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) and 2x call-up's to the The British & Irish Lions.

We also used the conversation to chat through issues on player pathways, the All-Ireland League, concussion levels in rugby, provincial rivalry and why it's not what it used to be, Leinster's performances this season, the importance of looking after your physical, mental and emotional health and a preview of the Champions Cup semi-final vs Ronan O'Gara's La Rochelle.

This was honestly a privilege to speak with one of the most decorated rugby players in Irish history, and I can genuinely say recording, editing and listening back got better each time - so I trust you'll enjoy the episode too! 🎙 This weeks' episode of the podcast is now LIVE and receiving some brilliant reviews already 🙌🏻🎙

I was joined by Jonathan Hobbs - the man behind NI Greenways and Bikefast - to talk all things walk, wheel and cycle - while also exploring (amongst many things), NI's existing road and rail network and the flaws and opportunities that exist, the pitfalls of social media and running an account in 2021 and much of Jonathan - the person behind the account - and how he runs the initiative lobbying government on our behalf etc.

Newest episode of the podcast out yesterday, and such an important one. Jonny McCambridge - journalist in Northern Ireland and author of "Afraid of the Dark: A Memoir of Mental Health & Fatherhood" joined me to discuss all things mental health, his life story, the struggles he has encountered, and so much more.

A really enjoyable episode to record and listen to, despite the at-times-hard-hitting content. Full episode available via linktr.ee/steviehenning, at https://www.buzzsprout.com/1456330/8098705 or by searching "In the Hot Seat" wherever you get your podcasts, and "Afraid of the Dark" available now in all good book sellers.

In a special episode - the third part of a mini-series on COVID-19 - I spoke with the incredible Jenny Finney on all things respiratory physiotherapy and what life has been like inside the four walls of a COVID ward for the last 12 months.

Quite simply I was blown away by Jenny - both by how eloquently she spoke about what her and her colleagues have faced - but also simply in disbelief that much of this has been happening on our doorsteps without us really knowing the in's and out's of what it is actually like for our frontline staff fighting this virus.

This is an episode not to be missed, and I'd urge anyone who can, to take some time to listen back - if nothing else, it serves as a reminder as to why we have all sacrificed so much over the last 12 months. In this weeks' episode I spoke with Ulster Rugby and Northampton Saints legend, Neil Best. Now living in Singapore, Neil walked me through some of his career highlights and lowlights from his time at Ulster, Ireland, Northampton, Worcester Warriors and London Scottish with the level of humour that you'd expect from someone who enjoyed the game as much off the pitch as on it. Throughout the episode, we also touch on his decision to move to Singapore 5 years ago and how he hasn't given up the game since moving there - in fact the opposite - as he has set up a rugby club Singapore Irish where he coaches at and sends his kids to, as well as playing at 41yo for 2x teams in 2x different leagues, albeit before COVID struck. Hopefully you enjoy the episode just as much as I did recording it - find the full episode by searching "In the Hot Seat" where you get your podcasts and make sure to subscribe, or click linktr.ee/steviehenning for a shortcut. All likes and shares massively appreciated as I have some incredible people lined up for the next few weeks and months.

*2nd episode of COVID mini-series on the podcast*

This weeks' episode of the podcast (released yesterday, Monday 22nd Feb) saw me speaking with Southern Trust Band 6 Physiotherapist, Diane Thompson. Having worked between Craigavon Area Hospital and the community, Diane has seen first-hand the devastating impact of COVID-19 and walks us through how some of that has played out since March 2020 for her and colleagues - as well as a discussion on the impact to her own personal life. Give the full episode a listen wherever you get your podcasts, or find it at linktr.ee/steviehenning

Episode 16 of "In the Hot Seat" podcast saw me speaking with Dr Lindsay Broadbent - virologist and research fellow at Queen's University.

Lindsay took us through all things COVID in a way only she can do so - allowing everyone to understand the intricacies of complex scientific language in such a straightforward way - and ultimately giving us all the optimism and confidence on vaccines, their efficacy, adaptation for mutations and variants and so much more.

This was probably my favourite episode to record yet and the feedback has been *incredible*. Please give the full episode a listen on linktr.ee/steviehenning or by searching "In the Hot Seat" wherever you get your podcasts.
