Ollie has been doing well since starting chemo. His appetite is back, he’s playing more and is as flirty as ever rubbing against my legs every time I’m in the kitchen. It’s so heartwarming to see him acting much more like himself since they first found the mass in his abdomen just ten days ago. At our visit this week our incredible oncologist said something that stuck with me: “The good news is, he doesn’t know he has cancer!” Good. I’m glad I can carry that burden for him. Needless to say, we’ve been smothering him with love this week and even though he’s hissed a few times because of the unfamiliar smells, Zero has been the most supportive brother. Your kind messages in support of Ollie have made such a difference in my mental health. Thank you all so much for supporting us in this journey and for loving Ollie as much as I do. ❤️
