This is outrageous. A lower minimum wage for disabled people is not ok. Vive La Revolution!

Do you know what section 14C of the Fair Labor Standards Act is?

This is an 84 year old provision that allows disabled workers to be paid fractions of what non disabled workers make. Currently the federal minimum wage for disabled employees is $3.34 an hour, while minimum wage for non disabled workers is $7.25. Disabled workers can be paid according to their productivity, and those standards are measured by the average productivity of non disabled workers in the same job. There are disabled people bringing home checks for 2 weeks of work, and finding them to be for ridiculous amounts like $14!!

It is way past time to change this! Currently, there are only 5 states that have done away with 14C, we need to add 45 more states to that number. A revolution needs to be started about this. We have to stand up and say we will no longer work for sub standard wages, and unequal treatment.

Come on people, LET’S START A REVOLUTION!

My candles are made with all natural, 100% soy wax,, and high quality fragrance oil.
I am currently offering 4 oz jar candles, and super cute heart-shaped wax melts. Because I'm just getting started, the selection is a little Limited but I will be branching out to different scents, and sizes very soon.

Hey guys!

I hope everyone had a safe, and happy Christmas! This was the best Christmas I've had in a while. Both the kids were here, we had a great dinner, and everyone got exactly what they asked for. Including my 50" TV!!!!

We started some new traditions this year, one of which was this Hot Chocolate Charcuterie Board! Hot chocolate from scratch, with everything we needed to make it extra yummy! , and I did such a goodjob on this! I can't wait to do it again next year!
