Isn’t it funny how we spend so much of our creative lives chasing the next season? Always reaching, always preparing… and yet somehow still feeling behind.

Let me gently remind you —
You’re not behind. You’re just walking your path.

Many coaches and creators follow a business model where teaching the next trend or launching seasonal designs ahead of time is essential. It makes sense for them. But is that what your model is built for?

Good Morning and Happy Monday, Friends!

Today’s cup is full of gratitude—with a splash of realness.

I’m fresh from another PT appointment (still a bit dizzy with that eye nystagmus, but making progress). I’ll be heading back again Friday, one step at a time. Healing isn’t always linear—but it is happening.

And today, my heart is especially full as I celebrate my beautiful daughter Paityn’s 23rd birthday! Time flies, but her light continues to shine brighter with each passing year. What a joy it is to be her mama.

To my fellow makers and dreamers—may this week bring fresh energy, creative fire, and business breakthroughs that remind you of your brilliance. You were made with purpose, on purpose.

The blooms are bright, the weather is warm, and I’m feeling just a little bit better after my first round of physical therapy yesterday—progress, not perfection!

Today, I’m going to attempt a little adventure out of the house (fingers crossed the world doesn’t spin me right back inside). Wish me luck—both for my balance and for any impulse buys I may encounter along the way!

Hey friends!!

I just wanted to give a little shop update—no, I haven’t walked away! I’ve just been stuck on an unrequested merry-go-round ride, courtesy of my inner ears.

After a few days of trying to power through, I finally caved and went to the ER… turns out I’ve got Bilateral BPPV (because apparently one loose crystal just wasn’t enough).

Right now, everything still looks like a slot machine on medium spin—but I’m hopeful things will settle soon. I miss our chats, the creativity, and I cannot wait to get back to designing once the room stops twirling like it’s auditioning for the ballet.

Thanks for hanging in there with me. I’ll be back soon—determined, not dizzy… unless blonde counts! 🤣

Good Evening Friends!!

Sweet dreams from me and this little fluff in a flower basket…
Today took an unexpected turn—quite literally! I had a surprise visit from vertigo this morning and ended up taking a little tumble. I’m okay (and very grateful for that), just spending the day resting, hydrating, and nursing a sore thumb thanks to a gnarly fiberglass splinter.

Epley maneuvers have been deployed, water has been sipped, and I’m trusting this spell will pass quickly.

Here’s to healing, grace, and knowing when to slow down—especially on a Sunday.

It’s time for another Cup of Clarity, and I’ll be honest with you… this week has been a bit foggy.

Between the clutter on my desk (and in my mind), the creative block has been real. I keep staring at beautiful supplies with no clear direction, and I’m realizing how much mental space clutter can steal. Not just the physical mess, but the mental noise too — the unfinished projects, the to-do lists, the “shoulds” we pile on ourselves.

So today, I’m asking:
What helps you reset when you feel stuck creatively?
Is it cleaning your space, walking away for a bit, or diving in and letting your hands lead the way?

Sometimes clarity doesn’t come in a loud “aha,” but in a quiet cup of coffee and the choice to try again.
