After posting all the curries, we decided to create a basic dish which pairs up with all the curries, ‘Jeera Rice’. A basic twist to the regular steamed rice, this is a very popular variant in India and as usual, ‘The Messy Chef’ has innovated in the basic version of it. The origins of this dish can be traced back to Mughal Empire. The flavor in Jeera Rice is driven by cumin seeds. The addition of lemon gives it an aromatic smell. Spaghetti Bolognese is a preparation made from flour noodles mixed with Bolognese sauce which is a meat based flavourful sauce. This recipe is our very own take on the Spaghetti Bolognese as we add Mushrooms instead of meat to the base sauce.
