A family close to the Stearns Design Build team could use some support from our community.
Ten-year-old Roselya Jacqueline Martinez was diagnosed with chronic granulomatous disease, a rare genetic disorder that affects the body’s ability to fight certain infections. Her family came to the United States from Honduras so she could receive the specialized care she needed, including a bone marrow/stem cell transplant.
Roselya has now undergone her transplant, but her recovery continues. Months of hospitalization, ongoing medical care, and time away from home have created a significant financial burden for her family.
As friends of Stearns Design Build, their story is especially close to our hearts. We are sharing their GoFundMe in hopes of helping ease some of the expenses they have carried throughout Roselya’s treatment and recovery.
