Te Runanga o Ngati Tama are feeling optimistic after a variety of successful engagements with their uri/members. Ngati Tama and NZTA have hosted well attended information sharing seminars across Taranaki and are scheduled to host another in Porirua this week. Feedback from online channels has also been encouraging as this is another tool the Runanga has utilized to engage with their uri and offer more reliable resources and information. It seems that once iwi members (and members of the public) have the accurate and sufficient information, support for Ngati Tama to enter agreements with NZTA is overwhelmingly positive.
