Hosted by Constance Lake First Nation – A week of fun for all ages!

🗓️ Event Lineup: 👵 Sept 15 – Elder Day Feast, entertainment, calling contests, games & bingo (60+)

🧍‍♂️ Sept 16 – Adult Day Moose & goose calling, relay race, crossdresser contest, pyramid game, wrestling

🤝 Sept 17 – Social Day (12–6PM @ MHEC Field) Smoked meat, fish fry, pancakes, demos & displays

🎈 Sept 18 – Youth Day (@ MHEC Gym) Spaghetti dinner, games, contests & age-based activities (0–17)

🎲 Sept 20 – Adult Entertainment Poker tournament, 80s-themed party, games, prizes, 50/50 & gas draw 🎟 | Dry event

We are seeking caterers for the upcoming CLFN Moosefest events:

🍽️ Elders Activity Day – Monday, September 15, 2025
🍽️ Youth Activity Day – Thursday, September 18, 2025
🍽️ CLFN Closing Ceremony & Feast Day – Sunday, October 5, 2025

📌 Deadlines to Apply:
• Elders & Youth Activity Days: Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 3:00 PM
• Closing Ceremony & Feast Day: Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 3:00 PM

⚠️ Requirement: Caterers must have/provide a valid Food Handling Certificate.

Tomorrow (Friday, August 22, 2025) is the final day to register for Moosefest at the discounted price of $20.00.

📈 After tomorrow, the fee increases to $50.00 next week.

📍 Registration will be held at the CLFN Boardroom from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.

🫎 Moose Fest 2025 – Registration is NOW OPEN! 🫎

Constance Lake First Nation Members, get ready for the 9th Annual Moose Fest happening this fall! Please review the following rules and waiver details before registering:

✅ Moosefest Hunting Rules:
• Only registered CLFN members can participate.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Harvester Waiver Form must be signed at registration.
• Hunting is within CLFN traditional territory only.
• One moose per person. Moose must be intact or properly quartered.
• Provide a time-stamped photo or video of your harvested moose, submitted with the Moose Fest Measurer.
• No road kills, no night hunting, no third-party registrations.
• A portion of moose meat must be donated: 40 medium Ziploc bags or 20 large Ziploc bags.
• No call-ins accepted. Late arrivals = immediate disqualification.
• Please use care, respect, and caution during the hunting period.

📅 Hunting Dates:
• Friday, September 26, 2025 (dawn) → Saturday, October 4, 2025 (dusk).

📝 Waiver Highlights:

By signing the waiver, you agree that:
• You will not night hunt.
• You will donate fresh moose meat in required amounts.
• You will refrain from harvesting a cow moose.
• Registration fee ($20) is non-refundable.
• Moose Fest Committee is responsible for distributing donated meat.

⚠️ Deadline to bring in moose for measuring: Saturday, October 4, 2025 at dusk & donation of meat by 12:00am.
Final say of measurements: Daniel Sutherland, Moose Fest Measurer.

📌 Reminder: Registration must be done in person with your status card/photo ID. You must register yourself (no one else on your behalf).
