Walk With The Shelf…..

This was us yesterday as we took the opportunity to catch up, catch jokes and catch a piece of the lovely weather as we walked round California Park, Wokenham. The sun was shining and so was we 😎

Desperately holding onto the Summer 😎 good vibes, nice weather ☀️ (yes including the UK) and of course spending time with our family and our tribe….the essence of The Shelf 🙏🏾

Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible dads out there and not forgetting the mums who have stepped in for those whose dads have been absent! 💙 . This day means even more special to us here at The Shelf because Father’s Day 2021 was our first , so it’s also a Happy Anniversary to The Shelf 🥂 . The campfire heard from the hosts what the day meant to them. It’s more than just a celebration; it’s a reminder of the love and support fathers provide every day. Did you know that over 70 million dads are celebrated on this day? Yet, it’s important to remember that this one day out of 365 shouldn’t be the only time we show our appreciation. Let’s make it a habit to cherish our dads, do something special, and spend quality time with them every day.

A special shoutout to the amazing women who stand in for absent fathers, showing strength and love in their place. We know Father’s Day can be difficult for some for many reasons, so take comfort in those family and friends who have stepped in to support you. Their love and presence are equally invaluable. ❤️. Let’s remember the reason why we celebrate this day and not get wrapped up in the commerciality of it all. Show your love and appreciation every day 😘

Today we celebrate do what we love, be in the company of our tribe, laughing hard with a tipple of choice which today may include 🍸🍹, 🍷and of course ☕️. Those who know, know! 🌧️ Reflecting on Rainy Days and Sunny Moments 🌞

Today’s gloomy weather had me reminiscing about a particularly bright and sunny moment from my past. It’s incredible how even a gray day can spark memories of better times and inspire positive thoughts.

I remember a day when everything seemed to fall into place perfectly. The sun was shining, I was with my bestie and that feeling of joy ‘in the moment’ was indescribable. It’s a reminder that even when the skies are cloudy, we have the power to bring sunshine into our own lives by focusing on the positives and the progress we’ve made.

Reminding you to embrace the ups and downs…..it’s part of the journey. Every challenge and every setback is an opportunity to grow and learn. So, as the rain falls today, I’m choosing to reflect on the bright moments and let them inspire me to keep pushing forward.

After the rain, the sun always comes out again. 🌈

What a great day today had been. Nothing but pure sunshine☀️and good vibes 🎙️
We’ve had fantastic weather this whole weekend (we hope it continues 😎). But hey, that’s the beauty of the UK, the lovely weather just rocks up when it chooses 😂😂. 🎙️ Our hosts were invited to a business meeting at a great place. They indulged in the cuisine and a look around the venue. They weren’t disappointed. We believe wholeheartedly that when one door closes, another is ready and waiting to be opened. That’s exactly what happened this weekend. Our plans changed, abruptly and outside of our control. We then received a message from someone opening up a new opportunity to the hosts.
